ALTURA Society LLC (“Altura,” “we,” “us”) runs Altura Society. Altura is a builder network. A free account lets you create a public profile, list what you are building, post in the feed, and browse other builders. There is no application and no seat cap. Anyone with a profile is a builder. Weekly updates, streaks, Academy, introductions, benefits, and direct messages are part of the free service.
Altura is not an investment platform, a bank, or a money-transmission service. Altura does not sell tokens, NFTs, or any other digital asset, and does not operate a wallet.
By creating an account or otherwise using the Altura website, mobile apps, or services (together, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Altura. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Your public profile is visible to anyone on the internet; you choose what goes on it.
Altura is free to join. Paid features are not available yet. If they launch, payments will be handled by Stripe and the price will be shown before you pay.
Any terms, billing interval, fulfillment details, renewal terms, and refund policy for an optional extra will be shown before purchase. Recurring extras can be cancelled before their next renewal.
If paid features launch, payments will be handled by Stripe. Altura does not collect or store your full card details and does not process transactions between members.
Altura does not hold funds on your behalf, does not operate a wallet or stored-value account, and does not custody, transact in, or convert any cryptocurrency, token, NFT, or other digital asset. Any business you do with another member is strictly between you and that member. Altura is not a party to it, does not hold or transfer funds for it, and provides no guarantee and no dispute resolution for it.
Members may show an optional status on their profile (for example “Raising,” “Hiring,” or “Open to business”). These are self-reported, unverified statements by the member. Altura does not review, endorse, or confirm them.
Altura is not a broker-dealer, funding portal, investment adviser, placement agent, or finder. Nothing on Altura is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, and nothing on Altura is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Altura does not raise capital for members, does not match investors with issuers, does not receive transaction-based compensation of any kind, and does not take part in, hold funds for, document, or guarantee any financial arrangement between members.
Any introduction, conversation, or transaction that follows from a signal happens entirely off Altura and entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own diligence and for complying with all applicable laws.
You agree not to use the Services to:
Additional rules are in our Community Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent removal of your account.
Direct messages exist so members can talk to each other like people. Three rules:
Direct messages are hand-moderated. Altura may review reported messages and act on what it finds. A member who breaks these rules may be removed from Altura.
You keep ownership of the content you post, list, or upload to Altura (“Your Content”). You grant Altura a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Services, including showing your public profile in search and on the Discover page. You are responsible for having the rights to post Your Content.
Altura’s name, logo, website design, and software are our intellectual property and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
You may close your account at any time from account settings, or request deletion of your data through our data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or where we reasonably believe your use of the Services creates legal or safety risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Altura does not promise any business outcome, that member content or introductions are accurate or suitable, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content on Altura is for information only and is not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altura and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid Altura in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Altura and its affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, where ALTURA Society LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
